UB Rugby Names John Aspland as Forwards Captain for 2022

The University at Buffalo Rugby Football Club has elected John 'JD' Aspland as their 2022 forwards captain.
As the starting tight head prop for UB Rugby this past fall, JD was named 1st Team All-Conference by the Liberty Rugby Conference and was named one of the top 150 forwards in D1A rugby by the Goff Rugby Report.

Before coming to UB, John played his high school rugby for the Foothills Rangers where he was a two-time RugbyNY Upstate All-Star.
The UBRAA is registered with the New York State Department of State as a not-for-profit corporation and is recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization.
